Responsible for scheduling and conducting preventative maintenance and repair as well as lubricate machines
and equipment. Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and
work areas; shrink-fit bushings, sleeves, rings, liners, gears, and wheels to specified items that supports
maintenance goals and production and safety standards.
Maintain knowledge and compliance with all Corporate Specifications, Plant Standard Operating Procedures,
utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System, enter and complete Work Orders by electronic
documentation.
Comply with all Plant, Corporate, and OSHA policies and safety regulations: Hazardous Energy / Lockout-
Tagout, Fall Protection, Arc-Flash, Hazardous Material Management, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Assist in the integration, start-up and debug of plant floor material handling, automation, and welding equipment,
including weld controls, MIG welding robots, material handling robots and pick and place units.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions
for welding; Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions; Connect and turn regulator valves to
activate and adjust gas flow and pressure so that desired flames are obtained.
Operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas
tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma, arc, shield metal arc, resistance welding, and sub-merged
arc welding. Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers and power chippers, portable
grinders or arc-cutting equipment.
Read work orders and specification to determine machines and equipment requiring repair maintenance; Start

machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems; Set up and operate
machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
According to production specifications, construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials
such as wood cement and steel. Assemble and install machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to
foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools while attaching moving parts and sub-assemblies
to basic assembly unit.
Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry and welding
techniques; Troubleshoot equipment, electrical components, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems.
Ability to operate and maintain FANUC spot welders to produce quality product.
